I was solicited in Verizon Wireless in April, to secure Time Warner Cable services. I was promised a pre-paid Visa in ninety-days. I received an e-mail from Time Warner Cable@tristarfulffilment.com advising the pre-paid card would be sent. Then exactly ninety-days later an e-mail was sent advising "Verizon Wireless services were not eligible for the offer". The Better Business Bureau rejected a complaint against Verizon Wireless advising they were not accountable for my inconvenience. Yet, accepted a complaint for Time Warner Cable. It appears Verizon Wireless has been given carte blanche to solicit and/or promote cable services even further through this FCC approval, without being accountable to the customer. I do not understand why the FCC is allowing corporate strengthening without having corporations prove to them they will be fair to consumers.
