How can we improve Broadband.gov?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.
  • To see ideas you have already voted on, select the "My feedback" filter and select "My open ideas".

  1. Allow speed test to be run from an iOS device. Which can't be done today because no space bar is present to activate test.

  3. http://www.broadband.gov/qualitytest/mlabs.htm displays no results! (Firefox browser)

    I don't know why it fails, but I'm certain it can be fixed. Dozens of others manage.

  4. Fix Mlab

    Mlab is hanging up in Firefox and IE. Click on Begin Test and nothing happens.

  6. Seneca SC Map Error

    The broadband map shows multimegabit wireline services are available on Wood Farm Ln in Seneca SC, however only 1.5Mbit DSL is available through one carrier. The map should be updated, and if necessary, federal grant funds to ISPs reduced if any are given in exchange for coverage.

  8. Fix what's broke?

    Java is giving me a security vulnerability warning. The application itself just spits out "Error: TypeError: testApplet(...) is undefined"

  11. Speed test only works on fast connections

    Your broadband speed test at http://www.broadband.gov/qualitytest/mlabs.htm seems only to work when I have a fast connection. When the connection is slow it times out and registers zero for all four quantities.
