    • How can the FCC regulate public radio to KEEP it public radio?

KUOW has signed a letter of intent to purchase KPLU, an award winning, unique, global entity with a weekly listener audience of 400,000. We, the listeners, were STUNNED to learn of this acquisition AFTER the fact. How many FCC regs does this compromise or blatantly ignore, and how can we address this to the FCC ? What can we do now? I appeal to the masses, here. It is public radio. Details of this transaction can be found on the KPLU website, including a potent letter drafted by the CAC. www.KPLU.org.
      Thank you for any input!

      • Over Charging Prison and Jail Inmates Families / Friends

Over Charging Prison and Jail Inmates Families / Friends should be illegal. the FCC has done a great job because for years these companies have been billing thousands of dollars to the innocent families and now it's finally more reasonable BUT, the companies are still robbing them by charging a $6.95 to process their check, credit or debit card payments! there should be no extra fees charged that any other consumer does not pay! Rehabilitation depends on support of good strong family and friends. contact should be made as reasonable as any other person pays for a phone call!

        • Robocalls are strangling my small business!

I empty my "block caller list" monthly. I have to delete them one at a time which is time consuming, but at least I have a list. There are at least 200 numbers each month. Since I have multiple phone lines there are usually 3 or more calls from each number before I can get them stopped. This means I am interrupted between 20 and 30 times a day. I am seriously considering having a message saying no calls will be answered and allowing only email and Skype. Please, please stop them.

          • demand that all 2015/2016 presidential debates be made available to ALL interested citizens via national broadcast channels!

This is the first Presidential Election whose debates are not allowed to be seen by ALL of its citizens.

Cable outlets are grossly discriminating against "cord-cutters" to boost their ratings and advertising revenues by prohibiting same-day viewing of the presidential candidates' participation in the scheduled 2015/2016 debates without an active cable subscription.

All citizens should have the right to view the televised debates without being forced to pay for a cable subscription!

Stop the debate sponsors from denying the freedom to view the 2015/2016 scheduled debates. It should never be a "pay to play" right of the voting public!

            • require terrestrial broadband providers to give a minimum usage cap of 1 terabyte

Isps claim a family of 4 only uses about 250 gigabytesvof data per month. I disagree with this and think the minimum data cap they impose should be no less than 1 terabyte as most current caps allow for less than 1 hour of the Netflix use per day per person and that's not acceptable.

              • stop data throttling

I believe the FCC should end the data throttling. Its outrageous that companies like AT&T can throttle unlimited data customers after 5GB but still offer data plans up to 100gb

                • Post your data on how do-not-call complaints have been handled by the FCC.

We the consumers need to know what the FCC is actually doing about all the Do Not Call complaints that have been filed. The fact that huge volumes of unwanted calls still occur suggests that your complaint box is nothing but a black hole. To prove that the government is actually taking useful action, publish the statistics on what happens to all of these cases!

                  • Clarify the scope of FCC jurisdiction thoroughly

I have an ongoing complaint with Comcast because they have blocked HBO Go access for Playstation systems and have not communicated any intention of doing this ever.

Both times I've complained, Comcasts reply is that "confirmation that a particular customer is a Comcast customer" does not relate to internet access. This seems to be a satisfactory reply for the FCC, but it is not for me.

I would like a clear outline of what areas of internet access the FCC can help the public with.

                    • Stop Telemarketers from spamming us with their calls daily/hourly

These Telemarketer's Calls coming in are like email spam and we get up to a dozen a day. 90% of the numbers on our caller-id are from telemarketers spamming us with their calls. One Place that calls 3 times a day is the CARD HOLDER's Services and the others are from HOME IMPROVEMENT contractors wanting to fix up your home. I do believe contractors are not supposed to calling and bugging us on a daily/hourly basis.

When the DO-NOT-CALL-LIST came about, I would call the number and report these people for months, and up to a year, but after seeing…

                      • Better statistics for upload speeds

The FCC’s reports on broadband speed lack data relating to upload speeds. I strongly believe that this data would be beneficial to developers of consumer products that have a server like usage model. As a game developer this data would be beneficial allowing developers to gain a better idea of available upload bandwidth, which has historically been very resource constricted. Limiting the scale of the simulation both in terms of players and networked objects.

Though WEA is a good idea it is not very useful in it's present form. Choice desperately needs to be added. To be useful alert type and times for accepting alerts needs to be added.

Example, I will likely never be out anywhere in the middle of the night to spot a child abductor; though it is possible I could during daylight hours. When I was awoken at 1:00 AM by an Amber alert my only choice was to disable Amber alerts entirely. For this reason myself and millions of others are not participating at in this program that can…

                                • Simplify the report process for robocalls to a single number entry form and act based on statistics and frequency.

Why not allowing people to report robocall numbers in a simple box instead of the overwhelming form currently used.

Act on it based on statistics or frequency of the reported number, and make carriers responsible for violators.

We have the technology to do it. Get over the bureaucracy-minded attitude and do something to stop this people.

                                    • end caps and tethering restrictions on data service

If I watch one tv show or ten shows, the cable companies still make money from me and their advert listings. The same should be true of my Internet service and my devices that deliver said data. How I access the data is my concern regardless of my desire to tether 10 gigs to my laptop or use this ten gigs on only my mobile phone Or a game console. This is an overreaching and ridiculous ploy by the digital carriers to double dip and charge twice for services already paid for in full.

                                      • Do not pursue Obama's idea of Net neutrality.

The internet is functioning fine as it is on the free enterprise system. There is no need for "taxing" or "utilitizing" the internet. This is a guise for the government again reaching into American's lives for more handouts while stealing more and more freedoms. The internet has also become a much needed area for employment and opened creativity and enterprise of the human world to provide for needs and wants and make an income in the process.
