Use a different heading font
The font, Trade Gothic W01 Bold Extended, looks squished and just doesn't jive with the rest of the design. It seems to work OK when used as a title in the slides (e.g., "Explore Spectrum Bands, Maps", "Next Generation 9-1-1"). But in other places, such as the menu, article headings, and sidebar headings, it looks very unappealing.
Hi folks. Thanks for the feedback on this. We recently updated the font used throughout the site to a new, universal font that should help on these fronts. Please continue to give us feedback and we'll work to incorporate it into the website. -FCC New Media

Use fonts with proper hinting and this won't be an issue.
It's not the size, it's the horrible font you guys are using. It looks much better without the custom css font nonsense:
Never mind, I see this is a duplicate of the idea related to the font not rendering well in non-IE browsers... because now I see that the font looks fine in IE, and not so good in other browsers.
