  1. I think you shouldn't let Corporate Companies such as Cumulus Media decide on what stations should play or not play.

I think that you shouldn't let BIG Radio Companies such as "Cumulus" "Entercom" Dictate what cities want to hear! Radio stations are useless these days due to all "Computer" generated no Live DJ's anymore? No listeners can make a request or if they get to the DJ usually cant play it due to a programmed playlist already at the station! Bring Back The old small town market radio stations!

  2. License application timetable

One of the areas that significantly impacts my organization is the time it takes for license applications and the administrative status. Could the Commission post a current timeframe for license application processing so we could look at the website to see how long applications are currently taking for processing? Once an application is submitted, we have no idea how long to expect the process to take. I realize there are many factors involved, but I would hope the FCC might be able to offer something. Additionally, an explanation of the different administrative statuses such as "redlight review" would be helpful.

  3. Actually do some work, act upon Do Not Call violations!

For months and months I have gone through the motions of filling Do Not Call violations. The FCC response ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ. Typical government employee, asleep at his/her desk.

If you are not going to react to the public's requests, just go away, you are not needed. Save the tax payor a little money and close up shop!

  4. Force carriers to do rate structuring, small business is being overtaxed and over billed

Force carriers to do rate structuring, small business is being overtaxed and over billed for minimal service. Owning a small tech company in a rural area costs an unmanageable 150 dollars a month. We have four computers, one dedicated server and provide not hosting or external services. Updating our systems alone represents a 1/4 of our monthly costs. In effect we pay a 5 dollar a month "maintenance" fee per computer. If companies can't delivery robust hw and sw, why do I have to pay extra to stay compliant (at least with cyber best practices). What happen to the vendors'…

  7. We need to relace the FCC with a govt. entity that does what the tax payers want, and sticks to family standards! When all states that vote

CONCERNING THE DROPPING OF WHAT LITTLE MORAL STANDARDS THAT THERE ARE IN PROGRAMING: We need to relace the FCC with a govt. entity that does what the tax payers want, and sticks to family standards! When all states that voted on their ballots if ********** marriages should be legal all had a 90% no gay marriage, and all 6 states that passed it tried to repeal it, yet the FCC goes against the state's laws letting the media air the very thing that almost all the US population voted against, and the same with the nudity, the majority of the…

  8. Disco

    To Whom It May Concern:
Please consider discontinuing television commercials with any/all negative, vitriolic, or otherwise harmfully toxic content to viewers. Just because a particular business/advertiser is able to pay for a commercial ad. doesn't mean that everyone who happens to view certain programs should be subjected to some of the garbage that these marketers are promoting. Get rid of the trash because there is too much of it without having to see or hear it on tv or radio.

  9. Get the government out of the the business of providing phone service for the poor or the lazy.

I am being charged a subscriber line fee in order that free loaders can have phone service. This is socialism and I don't want to support or live in a socialist country. Discontinue this charge so that I can afford to have a wire line to my house.

  10. Have website that includes a do not call list for the state of nevada, i live in las vegas, nevada want use this to stop the unwanted calls

Register for do not call lists of person private paid phones.
These unwanted phone calls are violating our privacy act.
This in my opinion is illegal and should be corrected immediately.

  11. You need to be able to submit comments. I tried with the proposed decency standards and your ECFS Express would not submit my comments.

I completed the ECFS Express comment form on the new proposed decency standards for TV & radio, but could not submit my comment because your web site would not accept it. What good is a comment procedure that cannot be submitted? Hopefully, the whole FCC doesn't function this way?

  13. I heard the FCC was going to consider lowering standards on profanity, ***, etc. in the general media.

I can't find any recent information on that consideration so i must assume that it is not being considered.
If it's not being considered, then I was misled.
If it is being considered, your web site is too complicated for a normal person to use.
    thank you.

  15. Make feedback possible directly to the FCC site instead of via Adobe pdf format.

Allow for direct feedback to the FCC site instead of via Adobe pdf format. If one is using a local public library computer (as I am right now), I cannot send the feedback via my email since the FCC complaint form only uses an Adobe form by which one must sign up and pay in order to use. This raises the question of privacy, etc. THIS format here which I am currently typing out is what should be available to the consumer.

  19. The FCC needs to switch its old logo out for a new one

I think the FCC should make a new logo, the old logo has been used for a very long time and though iconic, and well recognized, I feel it needs a more modern approach to create a new legacy

  20. USB VAPOR PENS

Any pen for vapor use that is being exported into the united states should undergo an extra tax for examination costs. Since they are plugged into american laptops which could pose a potential threat to our personal information and network security. I believe this is how they are hacking our computers so efficiently. Buy american made electronic cessation devices.
