Are banks in the United States allowed to own media outlets? Magazines, newspapers, radio or tv stations?
I read that this is being banned in some countries and would be interested to know that status in the US.

I do not believe it is fair that the cellular services and it's customer service personnel or lack thereof, are allowed to undermine and denegrate the black american culture and paying customers, as such with this paying customer. Richard Branson did the same or in attempt...making a mockery of American blacks with exceptional regard to females and single parents. How do I have a chance to keep up with the Digital New Technology if all they seem to bring to america and marketing is 30's 40's 50's treatment of "non free" blacks. ( I was born in the 60's in…

More broadband competition is needed among Comcast, AT&T, and Time Warner
I currently pay over $300 per month for Comcast TV, Telephone, and Internet. When I have searched in the Houston surrounding areas I have found that Comcast has certain areas and AT&T has certain areas but they do not compete in those same areas. Is this because the FCC limits competition?

Privatize yourself
Sell yourselves off, then focus on regulating that entity which would be supported by licensing fees. If you say you can regulate thousands of broadcasters, cable companies, etc., then surely you can regulate one industry association at considerably lesser cost. Why would you do something that could be done by a private entity like Underwriters Laboratories?

Let us do a higher wattage on CB radio.
Let us do like 100 Watts at a CB station. People just love to do that anyway.

Stop the sale of spectrum and allocate what would be the next primary channel frequency for EMS, etc
once the spectrum is sold, gone forever,
use some as primary frequencies for EMS, first responders, and every critical aspect
of any disaster. WS databases and devices should have the ability to do either, plus open frequencies globally.

Get rid of the Child Internet Protection Act
In the schools that can afford laptops for their students, this act makes these once handy pieces of technology into golden bricks. Students complain about having educational sites blocked. Facebook is banned as well, but Facebook has been proven to promote collaboration between students. In addition, when the sites are blocked at home, is this not invasion of privacy? Students should have the right to browse the internet how they like at home, and this useless act prevents that.
