Help enrich the FCC.gov developer community.

Give us feedback on our current APIs by suggesting modifications to existing web services, or sharing ideas for other useful APIs to develop.

We publish regularly updates based off user feedback—were looking forward to hearing your suggestions.

How can we expand FCC resources for developers?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.
  • To see ideas you have already voted on, select the “My feedback” filter and select “My open ideas”.

    1. Off loading Cellular data to WiFi is becoming more common. Develop wifi standard for users to profit and open wifi more for off loading.

Most facilities, users, home owners, business have WiFi, but generally they are secured for non-public use. If WIFi APP can be developed, for a user to profit from data usage (other than themselves), the vast majority of folks would OPEN their WiFi for cellular off loading, and profiting (all be it small) from OPEN wifi standard. It would still provide security for users, but open for public who would pay for data usage. In the future, we could extend this to 900MHz band, and OPEN wireless across the across the nation - broadband for all!

      • Make an API for filing "do not call" violations.

It is currently somewhat tedious for people to file a 'do not call' violation through the web site. If there were an API available, then much of the information could be gathered automatically by a phone app. This would lead to better (more comprehensive and more accurate) reporting of do not call registry violations.
