Similar notion to a zip-code, area code/phone numbers or license-plate numbers, the FCC can start issuing different kind of identification code system, that is simple and unscattered like it is currently ongoing. Something that is identifiable and still can be kept private; if they wish so. Perhaps some multi-digital numbers, and capital alphas in a form of a minimum of nine-numerals to a maximum of thirty-digit format Example: [YAHOO e-mail address+:#YA-A0001-00000-00000-00000-00001 to #YA-Z9999-99999-99999-99999-99999] then Email address+ [YA#-AA000-00000-00000-00000-00001 to YA#-ZZ999-99999-99999-99999-99999] and etc........and the FCC can decide however what codes will be assigned to everybody that uses the computer and the internet all the time. And The FCC can impliment a code system as of January 1, 2019, which will give people plenty of time to adapt an internet code system.

Many of the commercials on our local radio stations sound very much like email spam. This may not be illegal but it a serious problem. I just heard a message for a Federal Student Aide help meeting, due to the number of "spam" advertisements, I am not sure if it is a private company trying to get people to pay for something they can do themselves or a valid assistance program offered by our government. Many of the commercials I am referring to are for mortgage help, loans, or credit card debt programs. They all try to sound official and similar to Public Service Announcement. I am an educated, technical savvy woman and I have a hard time sometimes sorting out these commercials as being what they are: "predatory advertising"! Please help.

Jeez Julius - how did you allow your agency to become such a complete disaster serving the needs of the CONSUMER - ie the taxpayer that entrusted you to regulate the Carriers, Cable, and Communications Industr. Maybe you should go back into the IBanking business with Mitt - you two might make an interesting pair in private equity because both of your careers are over in Public Service.

ATT - you probably have heard about that company. Let's talk about their wireless network - how can you support a network that drops calls - and makes claims that just are not true in terms of QOS - perhaps they can figure out how to measure cable connections at the tower - or maybe the should of just focused on wifi....

I dare you to operate an ATT U-Verse remote control - you should ban that device on general principal that the design and UI is like a micro-coding 6502 processors.

How about that stellar cable service called U-Verse - how can you allow the carriers and cable company configure MY viewing experience and in doing so force me to pay for about 100 channels I could care less about much less be able to understand ?

Even after paying hundreds of dollars per month for services wireless, cable, digital phone, etc - that works 'some of the time'. If the PCC were the PUC monitoring water services - I would of dehydrated by now - its great to know that some Ibanker 'psycho' at LightSquared is hood-winking your agency - and I can only wait for the moment that Science proves true and something happens that will be horrible - HOW MANY OPINIONS DO YOU WANT - LightSquared didn't to the math, science and you are allowing them to act like the tobacco companies of the 60's. Stop this nonsense or when you come back into the private sector I have some mesh networks you might want to invest along with video rental stores, newspapers.

I have a suggestion - while you enjoy being wined and dined by BigCo's on specturm the CONSUMERS need an advocate to set policy and standards for service.

The elections proved you and your agency are impotent to enforce DND and bots - much less do anything about it.

Get out there like Ray LaHood does about driver safety and the use of devices that your agency can't seem to set policy around for use in cars.

FCC should manage spectrum - which is a big boys game - hire some scientists that can show you how telecommunications work and better yet SHOULD WORK.

I knew you when you were effective - frankly I expected more - and so should the consumer public.

Let's start talking about a consumer communications commission to deal with the ATT, Verizon, Sprint, TMO, CenturyTel, et al to demand better service, quality, control and here's a concept - services that have a QOS level that if not met - they don't get paid.

I can't find them, neither can the representatives that I called. Any complaint interactions should be available to all parties online. A transcript of any resolved or unresolved complaints that are past their last action date should be available to anyone so that you can see if and how your complaint might be similar to someone else's and how it was resolved or not. I have been requesting written definitions of the terms used on my cable bill, no answer from the cable company, and, surprisingly, no feedback to me from the FCC despite truth in billing. I have asked twice where I can download the informal complaint procedure the the FCC analysts follow, no luck.

Enforcement of the Do Not Call List is totally obscure. I have filed my second complaint with the FCC regarding telemarketing and robo calls on my cell and landline. In filing the second complaint I have provided a list of approximately 40 numbers from May - July with as much information on each of them as possible. I understand there are some organizations that are exempt such as political (which I totally disagree with) but the calls are out of control and these people know they won't be touched. Not that they can not be they just aren't. Since filing the last complaint I continue to receive these calls and have begun to use the *57 trace componet. I have also found that there is one number in particular that will not trace. I have had two more calls from this number since filing and I can not trace them. I do have a couple of others that I have two traces on each. I am told it takes 3. But then what, do I have to hire an attorney to go after these people when there is an agency that should be doing their job. I am disabled with a very ill mother. It is an effort sometimes to answer my phone and I must make the attempt because of my mother. I want to answer my phone for only those that are to call. One robo call in particular will not disconnect upon hang up. Their entire message is played first. I know this because after hanging up on them I needed to place a call and could not get a clear line, simply because they weren't finished with their message. What if I have an emergency and I can not get my line cleared. I pay a phone bill monthly, I am on time. You would think we have the right to have only the incoming calls that we choose!!! And I would think I could have a dial tone when I need. I believe a robo call is suppose to give you an option to opt out at the beginning of their message. That never happens.......BUT......why do we have to opt out of their call list when we are already on THE NATIONAL DO NOT CALL LIST!!!! I have ranted enough but I am not done. It would also be nice to have someone acknowledge they have recieved our complaints
