Make the search application more thorough
I look for decisions and orders that I know exist, but they fail to be disclosed. In one case, I inserted the actual title of the docket and asked the search tool to search under "title", and though I knew there were at least three orders, the search only listed one. I don't recall that happening in the past. It worries me. Has the search functionality been modified? I'd rather have too many hits and trust how I can narrow them down than know that important ones are simply missing.

Make divisions reachable from the home page, not just bureaus
The Wireline Competition Industry Analysis Division has extremely useful data, but one would never know it with the new site. There is no way to get there unless you already know it exists. Nor is there a way to search for any of its reports effectively.

Get rid of the freaks and bring in the geeks
Recently,we were looking to start an Amateur Radio Club at our children's school and those dreams were shattered by this new overcomplicated FCC website. Days were spent by three adults and still could not clearly find the answers that everyone was looking for. Maybe the general public would benefit from an Amateur Radio section where the answers could be clearly found and understandable and readable. Get rid of the freaks and bring in the geeks...

Get the "search" feature working.
I'm looking for a two year old Commission report, but the old link to the document doesn't work and the new site's "search" function yields zero helpful results. As of a couple of days ago, I was able to find it by choosing to use the previous fcc.gov and searching from there. However, now even that seems to be turned off.

The new site is much ****** to use
The concept looks nice, but the drop down menus need to tree out more because, unless you're lucky enough to be interested in a hot topic, there is insufficient information displayed on each page to easily locate one's desired path. This website was not well considered or designed. It looks like an attempt is being made to prevent people from easily finding information instead of the reverse.

A few tweaks
I think you need to rethink making these radical changes that are so disruptive to the user, and focus on modifications that truly improve things, rather than changes that actually make things more onerous. For example, it used to be that when we clicked on a link to an item such as a press release or a commissioner statement, we were taken to the item. Now when we click on links to items, we're treated to a bunch of FCC boilerplate and forced to then hit the "expand" button. Why? May not seem like a big deal, but multiply this…

In the display options, you can switch to Espanol, but not back to english.
In the display options, you can switch to Espanol, but not back to english. Once you do that, there's an American flag icon that appears in the Display options, but doesn't do anything.

Items on Circulation
Like the former fcc.gov web page, the new web page needs a link to items on circulation.

I don't even know how to use this feedback page. What are votes? Why do I have to login?
Why can't we just give general feedback in normal comments? I don't understand what voting means or why I need to vote on something, let alone why I only get 10 or 1, 2, or 3 at a time. Bizarre system. Matching the equally unusable website.

Add a Fade Fffect to the Social Media Icons
Add a fade effect instead of a direct hover effect to these icons. It would provide a smoother layout and experience.

Whatever happen to "Layman's Terms"? Why is the FCC website so difficult to understand?
I want to an asset to my community by applying myself and obtaining a Ham license but I got a headache after one hour on your site and never finding what I was looking for. Here is a simply question:How much for a lifetime Ham Radio operators license? After one hour,I still couldn't find the answer.

The site is not accessible to the blind.
The site is apparently using new code. It is nearly impossible to use. I am a Radio broadcast engineer an I rely on the site. I am also legally blind. In it's new form, I will not be able to get around it. It makes no sense to a person listening to it with a screen reader. It is repeating "type in text" for every letter I am typing right now, due to what? It does not happen on any other site. There are no HTML Headings now on the old page, where did they go? Menus on the new…

Create Forums to get the People Involved
Create a Forums on the site and link articles and ideas to the forums. So not only do we get general comments, but people can also become involved and have a voice in their government and in the FCC. The most important part of the FCC is communication, which this would help accomplish.
